Super excited to bring these whimsical little wooden animals from the folks at T-Lab, I’ve long admired them and they’ve been occupying homes in Japan and around the world for well over 10 years!
Polepole (poh-leh poh-leh), meaning slowly, slowly in Swahili give you a clue as to how these guys are created. Each animal is hand carved from a soft light wood and then hand-painted with the sweetest expressions and patterns. Due to their handcrafted nature, each polepole animal is slightly different and unique!
Collect them on their own or get a whole family of them, they look amazing almost anywhere at home or in the office! Line them up or group them on your desk, shelf of any surface you fancy and they’re sure to bring a smile to your face. They make the sweetest gifts whether for a birthday, house warming, and baby showers (possibly online ones of late) as nursery gifts!
