Butterwort - Pinguicula Weser x Jaumavensis

Another sticky little carnivore that loves nothing better than a good meal! nom nom. This variety turns a lovely pink in bright light. 

With its sticky little leaves it's the perfect match for those pesky fungus ngats. A living sticky trap if you will.

Loves to live on a west / north facing (watch those summer heat waves though!) in a little saucer of water during the summer months, let it dry out between waterings during winter. If it's really happy it will readily show you some lovely pink flowers as well!

A very easy care plant.

Each large plant approximately 5cm diameter.

X Large approximately 5.5cm in diameter

Small plant approximately 4cm diameter

To ensure these beauties are less likely to arrive undamaged in the post, they will be sent barerooted and carefully packed in a bed of spaghnum moss. Depending on the season the ping you receive may be more green than pink, but given time and warmer weather it should pink up!

CARE:

Repot into a mix of either chopped up sphagnum or peat moss and mixed in with a handful of pumice / perlite (Absolutely no added fertiliser as that will kill these little guys!)
